Since 2015, CGC has maintained certification of its Environmental Management System in accordance with the requirements of the ISO 14001 standard. The scope of this certification covers the generation of electric power from field gas with a high carbon dioxide content, as well as the transmission of electricity at medium voltage to the National Interconnected System.

In 2018, CGC obtained recertification under the ISO 14001:2015 version, reinforcing its commitment to environmental protection and the integration of socioeconomic considerations into its management practices. The recertification audit conducted in December 2024 yielded satisfactory results, confirming the validity of the certification through 2027.

Compliance with this certification supports the optimization of our environmental practices, the mitigation of operational impacts, and the consolidation of a continuous improvement process aligned with international standards and the expectations of our stakeholders.
