Hugo Eurnekian

President & CEO

Hugo Eurnekian is an Argentine businessman who leads Compañía General de Combustibles (CGC), part of Corporación América holding group. With over a decade of experience in the energy sector, he has also driven initiatives in biofuels and renewable energy and has led strategic acquisitions that have positioned CGC as a key player in Argentina’s hydrocarbon production. Under his leadership, the company has strengthened its presence in the Austral and San Jorge Gulf basins, initiated operations in Vaca Muerta, and is advancing exploration efforts in Palermo Aike—regarded as one of the country’s most promising unconventional reservoirs for future development.

Rodrigo Fernández

COS – Chief of Staff

Rodrigo Fernández joined CGC in 2020 as Vice President of Human Resources. With over 15 years of experience, he has worked across diverse industries, including energy, insurance, logistics, and steel. He has also served as a lecturer in the Human Resources program at Universidad Argentina de la Empresa (UADE). He holds a degree in Marketing from UADE, a postgraduate diploma in Strategic Human Resources Management from Universidad de San Andrés (UdeSA) and has completed both a Management Development Program (PDD) and an Executive MBA at IAE Business School.

Emilio Nadra

CBO – Chief Business Officer

Emilio Nadra joined the company in 2017 as Vice President of Commercial Operations, with 16 years of experience in the energy industry. He previously served as Gas Sales Manager at Wintershall Energía and held various executive positions at Pan American Energy and ENARGAS. He holds a degree in Economics from Universidad Torcuato Di Tella and a Master’s in Administration and Public Policy from Universidad de San Andrés.

Juan Martín Vico

CFO – Chief Financial Officer

Juan Vico has served as Chief Financial Officer (CFO) of CGC since 2025. He brings over 20 years of experience in financial leadership roles at top-tier companies such as Aeropuertos Argentina, Grupo Telecom, Cablevisión, and Grupo Clarín. Before joining CGC, he held the positions of Chief Operating Officer (COO) and Chief Financial Officer (CFO) at iZZi Telecom, part of Grupo Televisa in Mexico. He holds a degree in Economics and is a Certified Public Accountant from Universidad de Buenos Aires (UBA). He also holds a Master’s in Corporate Finance from Universidad del CEMA (UCEMA) and is a CFA charterholder.

Lautaro González

CTO – Chief Technology Officer

Lautaro Emilio González joined CGC in 2022 as Chief Technology Officer (CTO), bringing more than 20 years of experience leading digital and technology areas at companies such as Telecom, Almundo, Nación Servicios, Coca-Cola FEMSA, and PWC, among others. He is a Certified Public Accountant from Universidad Argentina de la Empresa (UADE), has completed the Senior Management Program at IAE Business School, and earned a Master’s in Software Engineering from Universidad Tecnológica Nacional (UTN). He also obtained a Diploma in Digital Business from Emeritus and a Diploma in Blockchain & Cryptocurrencies from Universidad del CEMA.
